About Elizabeth Eckert
Elizabeth Eckert is a functional health practitioner who can help you discover a place of resilient wellness, come to trust your gut’s inner knowing, and find an authentic connection with your creativity and joy.
She says, “It’s fascinating to look at each person as an individual and unravel the complexities of their challenges to optimal health. I want you to be able to tap into your inner guidance system. To listen for the cues that you’re on the right track, and shift readily when it’s time to course-correct. It’s hard to find that stillness when your physical body isn’t well. If you feel challenged now, take heart. We have so many opportunities to make things better!”
Elizabeth draws into your experience a diverse background that includes academic degrees in energy medicine, developmental psychology, and music. Her professional experience includes 26 years as a neuromuscular massage therapist bringing mechanical balance to persons with pain and soft tissue dysfunction and ten years as an administrator in the production department of a major opera company.
Her functional nutrition training includes: Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN) certificate; Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis with Dr. Rick Malter; continuing education in nutrigenomics with Michael McEvoy, microbiome balance with Dr. Jason Hawrelak, and nutritional biochemisty with Dr. Brian Walsh. Additional areas of in-depth training include Tellington TTouch for companion animals (mainly dogs) and people, breathwork, medical intuition, outdoor skills and tracking, and martial arts. Each discipline adds its own unique color to the matrix that informs our options.
Elizabeth lives in spacious North Dakota, where she offers functional health consultation, shares an amazing device that enhances microcirculation (BEMER), grows a vegetable garden, and plays with her three dogs. She is the author of Word Cures: How to Keep Stupid Excuses from Sabotaging Your Health.
