Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® Health Coaching

Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN)®

Functional Diagnostic Nutrition is a systematic approach to investigating the underlying function of the body’s hormone, immune, digestive, detoxification and mucosal barrier systems. Equipped with this knowledge, one can begin a health-building program designed to optimize function in each of these areas. The intended result is greater vitality and clarity; better health. It’s kind of like a full tune-up for your body!

Symptoms are the last thing to appear when the body’s breaking down. — FDN® founder, Reed Davis.¹

Do you have a health concern?

The adrenal glands produce cortisol, helping the body respond to stress. Sometimes they get tired.

  • Low energy or fatigue
  • The feeling that “something’s not quite right”
  • Inflammation, sore joints, stiff muscles
  • Headaches
  • Body weight concerns
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Tricky digestion
  • Lack of focus, poor memory, slow thinking
  • Irritability or sadness
  • Catch every little bug or cold that goes around
  • Or… ____________________

How does it impact your life?

  • Inability to follow through on the things you’d like to do
  • Lack of productivity or focus at work
  • Can’t keep up with the kids or grandchildren
  • Loss of enjoyment in life
  • Loss of quality relationships and friendships
  • Staying home from things you would have otherwise enjoyed doing
  • Slow at learning new things
  • Or… ____________________

In a very real sense, we all have the same disease because all disease begins with broken, incorrect biochemistry and disordered communication within and between our cells. For health to return, the chemistry must revert to normal, and communication within and between our cells must be restored. This is true for every disease. — Terry Wahls, M.D.²

Would you like to take a proactive approach to building optimal health?

Functional lab tests help FDN practitioners create an individualized protocol for you.

Functional Diagnostic Nutrition utilizes functional lab work to explore hidden stressors in the hormone, immune, digestive, detoxification, elimination and mucosal barrier systems. The practitioner consults with you about how those stressors may be impacting your health. Then, she offers recommendations to consider as you restore function and create the foundations of optimal health.
The tests are simple, reasonably priced, and most of the samples can be collected by you in your own home. In addition to the lab fee, which is paid directly to the lab at the time you submit the test, there is a consultation fee paid to the practitioner at the time you register.
